Homepage Settings: Editing the Four Blocks Section

What is the Four Blocks Section?
The Four Blocks Section is a webpage element that enables you to highlight, or showcase, specific items on the event platform. The Four Blocks Section can also link out to other sites so event planners can use this section to drive traffic to their registration page, or other pages outside of the all-in-one platform.

1. To make edits to the event platform page, log into the event platform and access the admin page

EVA Tip: You can only make changes to the event platform with Admin access

2. On the left column, click on Website Builder, and in the drop-down menu that appears, click Homepage Settings

3. From here, you can access all the available options and settings for your event platform homepage; click Four Blocks Section at the top

4. To enable the Four Blocks Section, check the box labeled Is Four Blocks Section? then add the following information:
Title
Description

EVA Tip: The four blocks in this section are connected; you cannot have only 2 boxes. If you enable this section, you enable all four boxes; if you disable this section you disable all four boxes

5. Set up your four individual blocks. For each block, enter the following information:
Block Title
Block Link
Block Description

EVA Tip: You can choose to either link the block to a page in the all-in-one platform, they will appear in a drop-down list.
Or, you can link the block to an external URL to another website.

6. To save your changes, click the Update button at the bottom of the page

EVA Tip: Your changes will show up automatically on the homepage. If you do not see your changes, refresh the page and ensure your cache & cookies are cleared.
