Session Survey Setup: General Surveys vs. Session Surveys vs. Review Quizzes

What is a General Survey?

A General Survey is a questionnaire that organizations may deploy after an event, in order to collect feedback and input on the event's effectiveness and to plan for the next event. Most General Surveys typically ask questions regarding the overall features of an event such as networking opportunities, session topics, ease of access, and what attendees would like to see from this event in the future. Some organizations may require attendees to complete a General Survey in order to receive continuing education credits for attending the event. 

What is a Session Survey?

A Session Survey is similar to a General Survey, except instead of reviewing the event overall as a whole, the attendee is asked to review specifically one session. Most Session Surveys typically include questions regarding the specific content covered in the session and the effectiveness of the presenter or speaker. Some organizations may require attendees to complete a Session Survey in order to receive continuing education credits for attending the session.

What is a Review Quiz?

A Review Quiz is a brief test of knowledge over the information presented in sessions during an event. Attendees may have to pass one, or multiple, Review Quizzes in order to earn Continuing Education credits for attending a session. As opposed to questions regarding the attendee's feedback and opinion, most questions in a Review Quiz are about the content covered in the event itself.
